Who am I
I am Robert Fennis. I studied Telecommunication Engineering at the University of Twente and spent seven years working on high-level electromagnetics five years at Thales Netherlands on military radar systems and two years as an antenna engineer at the European Space Agency (ESA) in Noordwijk.

I am also the author of EMerge, a FEM solver for Python.
On March 20th, 2026, I started Emerge Numerics B.V. because I genuinely enjoy helping smaller companies solve technical hurdles. My goal is to make antenna design straightforward and fast. I focus on practical, "low to the ground" solutions that get your project moving without unnecessary complexity. If you need a reliable design that works, I am here to help you build it.
